Free fabulous park which is one of the best attractions in New York, a pearl hidden within skyscrapers of the city.

It’s great place for an amazing walk along with unique artwork above the streets of downtown NY and best views of Chelsea, Hudson Yards, New Jersey and River, the sight is glorious!

If you’re looking for a photoshoot place, you’ll find them a lot there.

Section that connects to Hudson Yards is impressive. It’s aged well and trees give the park a natural feel at places.

It’s also easy to get on and off by the various stairways and elevators (approximate locations are marked on the map).

Also there is a lot of bars and restaurants, malls and attractions.

“No dogs” rule exists and is necessary — most importantly — because of the health of the High Line’s landscape.

As a freight rail line, the High Line was in operation from 1934 to 1980. It carried meat to the Meatpacking District, mail to the Post Office and agricultural goods to the factories and warehouses of the industrial West Side.

The design team was selected in 2004 by Friends of the High Line and the City of New York: James Corner Field Operations (project lead), a landscape architecture firm; Diller Scofidio + Renfro, an architecture firm; and planting designer Piet Oudolf.
